 The Anka Plastic Foot Valve minimises the development of reverse flow that may cause damage to pumps and equipment. These valves restrict flow to a single direction with a spring return to close the passage. The Anka Foot Valves are an inexpensive way to ensure that a centrifugal pump is primed every time it cycles and can be installed in any orientation, as long as the direction of flow is specified. It is highly recommended that a Foot Valve Bracket is used in conjunction with the valve to avoid suction of debris into the system.
