20 Year’s is a long time in any job and consumes a large substantial chunk of your life. 

To achieve this milestone and continuing to be productive whilst maintaining personal satisfaction, can be a challenge and requires substantial reinvention along the way.

Steve Dartnell commenced as a part time employee of Wave Irrigation at the ripe old age of 14.

Upon leaving school he became full time, working with his Uncle Maurie out in the field servicing sprinkler systems.

From there he progressed to sales at the Burwood store before becoming Manager in 2001.

In 2004 Steve oversaw the operations at the new Hoppers Crossing store and then as Sales Manager for Wave Irrigation’s stores.

Then in 2012 Steve became the Sales Manager for Smart Water and played an integral role in the merger between companies.

Today Steve heads up the Commercial Sales Team playing his role in making Smart Water a force to be reckoned with.

Graeme Binion started with One Stop Sprinklers as an Irrigation labourer under the tutelage of his dad Graham (Sam) Binion who was in charge of quoting irrigation works for the company for many years.

He soon became responsible for running his own jobs and became a Licensed Irrigation Installer.

He rose through the ranks to become the Installations Manager overseeing up to a dozen staff.

Later on with Smart Water he settled into the role as Senior Maintenance Technician where he spends his time solving problems and keeping customers happy.

SOS (Son of Sam) really is a chip off the old block and a credit to himself and our organisation.
